Asus P5k
Core 2 Duo E6750
Kingston KHX6400D2LL (DDR2-800 CL4)

Im having nightmares choosing video board, my needs are to play HDMI 720p movies connecting PC to my LG LC2R 32'' and for DX9 since i dont intend to use Vista. I dont want to spend more than 100€.
I heard about GeForce 7600 GT being a good option.

You'll want at least a 7900gs or an x1950pro. If you can swing it an x1950xt or a 7950gt would be even better.

Nvidia may come out with new midrange cards in November, something along the lines of an 8700gts, so if you buy something now I would recommend eVGA so you could use their excellent Step-Up program.

720p is relatively low on the res scale....What are the capabilities of your screen?
If it can do 1080p then go for a big card that way you can use the hd features of your screen!
While there aren't too many cards with the hdmi connectors on them right now, there are some mobos that sport this nifty connector!
But, if you're going to use the vid card you stated then you'll be using a dvi to hdmi converter...so go for the biggest card you can find for that 100.00E!
Best of luck!
BTW I'm using a 6200 nvidia for my home theater pc and @720p it looks awesome!

LG LC2R 32'' is my TV, not my monitor and only supports 720p max.

Im very confused in choosing Nvidia GeForce 7 or 8 Series and then the model for it.
Should i buy an Asus, Gigabyte with nvidia chipset or makes no diference wich ?

If you're no interested in Vista and DX10 the 7900 is much faster for gaming. You are interested in gaming right? If not the 8600 is better for video playback and home theater stuff. For me it would be the 7900 all the way.
