Hi,

I don't need a lot of storage, and I think a single hard drive will do.
Saying that, I was wondering if it's possible to partition a single, external drive, so that it shows as 2 hard drives.
This way, perhaps I can back up 2 system's files.
Thoughts?

Certainly ,,,, you can fdisk an extended partition [the whole hdd] then create the logical partitions, simple really,,
that is if your choice of OS will allow the operation, the other option is to,,get a HDD caddy and have a 2nd internal, but removeable HDD..Have phun...,,,,,,,,,,,Dokk2.
