My computer is making a booming noise.
I don't know what it could be.

Take cover off and try and spot where sound from. Use a plastic ball pen or similar to stop fans, one at a time for a few seconds to see if making the noise. You can put the sharp end of a screwdriver against hard drive etc while putting ear to handle to hear if majing the sound.

Maybe there's too much of the magic blue smoke trapped in that PC; some of it just needs to be let out.

...but seriously, the question is meaningless without details about the rig and the circumstances in which the noise occurs.
