wellits prety good, for 600 euros which is around 400 pounds. but you will need an extra 1gb of ram. and hdd is weak very weak. well how much do you want to spend. as the e6600 is an old cpu and the mobo is old, but the graphics is good

Well i already have another big hdd.
About the chipset:
Can you tell me the differences for 965, 975 and p35?
I know it has to do with OC but i dont have a clue about the RAM speed/FSB thing.

Thank you

well the 965/975 board don't officially support the new 133fsb cpu's, but the p35 do, and they also support the new 45nm cpu's coming out the end of the year. and the p35 supports 1066mhz ram too.

ram is dual channel so 800 mhz ram is really 400 mhz. so you just half the ram speed.

and fsb is "quad" pumped so 1333mhz fsb is really just 333mhz. so you haave to get a 1:1 ratio well its better. the ram should atleast be the same speed as the fsb.

but if you are OC you increase the speed of the fsb so if you want to get 3.6ghz with a e6850 with a mulitper of 9x then you will need a fsb of 400mhz and ram with the same speed. 400 mhz. which is 800mhz ram. simpole
