ONE THING IS CAN SOMEONE TELL ME A GOOD DVD DRIVER THING I DONT KNOW WHAT TO GET. ANyway what u think? i know someone is gonna say why 4GB RAM when u have 32bit.....i got 4 becasue even though it only sees 3GB if i upgrade to 64 i already have the 4GB, plus i heard not many games run in 64 bit so ya.

looks good , just something about the motherboard , well it supports both ddr2 and ddr3 but ddr3 is limited to 4gb , also it canT OC as well as GIGABTE P35 DS3R (which supports only ddr2) or ASUS P5K or P5K-E (which again support only DDR2) .also there are many games that run well on64bit , bioshock , definitely crysis , cod2.....

for a good DVDRW go for LG,SAMSUNG , PIONEER ,...

yea im juts gonna overlclock a little but i see what your sayin....i just want this to be future proof so i don't have to get another mobo so i already have DDR3

for now u have to get DDR2 because its alot cheaper than DDR3 , even 4GB ddr2 is cheaper than 2gb ddr3 , and if u get 4gb ddr2 now , then how do u want to have ddr3 , it will be limited to 4gb , on the other side u have 8gb ddr2 support , ....

On the DVD burner, get a Retail (rather than OEM) package in order to get the software, including a decoder. It will only be another $5-$7, vs. paying $20 or more to get the software later.

The rest looks good, but I agree with Maziar that DDR2 is all you need.

I got the MB he's considering it so far it's been working flawlessly. True, you can only get 4 gig of DDR3 but it worries me not. For now, I am running 4 gig of DDR2 but I think it's interesting to have the possibility of DDR3 when the time comes. I don't see the ''Must have 8 gig'' any time soon. Anyways, you should end up with a pretty decent system in the end. I am running my system with the D2C 6850, I was pretty a draw between that choice and the one you got.

thnx The_Baron_64! im gonna get those Sony ones instead thnx! and one thing i heard was its good to have your CPU and RAM running 1:1 ratio? is this true? any preformance gain? if i wud i wud have to have my CPU at 3.6 and i cuddnt do that so i wud have to "underclock" my RAM? i am tryin to get my Quad to 2.6 minimumm i wud like to get to 3.0Ghz MAX are my componets good for this?
