Overclocking Utilities

I just read a post on different utilities for overclocking and benchmarking and here's a list of what I am thinking of using: CPU-Z, Speed Fan, Super Pi, AtiTool, Rivatuner, 3D Mark06. Which of these do you think I should use and which version? Also for stability testing which program would be best Prime95, Othos or Rosetta? Also what version of sysmark should I use to benchmark? Finally, my specs are Q6600 G0, 8800Gt, maximus formula, 4 gb ram, 750 watt psu and ultra 120 extreme with fan.
Any advice is appreciated :D

Get the newest version of all of them as you've got a Q6600 G0 and an 8800GT.

Get all of them if possible, variety is a spice of life so they say.

I've got soooo many different utilities, benchmarkings, monitoring software, the works. Never hurts to have to many if you see what I mean.

As far as versions go, generally newer is best, especially with your setup (otherwise it won't properly stress, benchmark, monitor, etc. etc.)

Are you working with Vista or XP?

If XP then get all of those. However, if you are running Vista, you'll either need to disable driver signing or find utilities that do have a digital signature. RivaTuner does not. I had to use Ntune, which is not quite as robust as RivaTuner, but it gets the job done.

For my overclocking/benchmarking suite, I used:

Everest Ultimate (CPUID seemed to crash Everest, so I had to use CPU-z)
CPU-z
Prime 95
Ntune
3dMark 06

Speedfan is nice if you can get it calibrated properly, but I found Everest to be highly accurate with my setup, which isn't too different from yours.

I have a 6750 on a Maximus Formula, 4x 1G Corsair Dominator DDR2-1066 and an 8800 GT.

Cool yeah using vista so i'll use ntune instead. But i'll just use all to make sure my comp is squeaky clean and stable. Thanks for the advice.

I just read the below post and followed the links. So instead i think i'll just use nibitor and nvflash instead of ntune but still thanks for all of the advice. :D
