A month ago CoolItystems was nice enought to send me a pre-production Freezone Elite to test and then do a review on which can be found at http://nordichardware.com/Reviews/?skrivelse=520 . Their new design has really paid off as well as changing the stock 92mm fan to a stock 120mm pushing a quite 120cfm. With my QX6800 OCed to 3.51GHz underload it never went over 34c. We did not have the chance to go past 3.51GHz do to the Striker Extreme going bad. Since then i have been able to hit 3.86GHz at between 38c-40c underload. This new design has really paid off as well as the new 120mm fan. I should have their new 12 TEC unit called the Boreas sometime next week to test & do the review. You can buy the Boreas by itself,or already installed in a Silverstone TJ-07 case, which is what is being sent to me.Ill be testing this with a QX6850 and two 8800GT KOs. Although they do not have a retail kit for the 8800GTs,i have been told that they have a working solution for cooling the cards untill the retail kits are made availible. The kits that come with the Boreas are for the 8800 GTS as well as the 8800GTX and Ultra which i also have two of. At this point i am not sure if i'll be using the GT KOs or Ultras for testing the Boreas's cooling power.
