Recently I acquired a Linksys WRT54G3G router and am not able to get an internet connection with my D-Link 502T modem. I have tried setting the modem in bridge mode, and inputting the ISP info on the router, but the password entered keeps changing into something twice as long. Also tried setting the router to 'Automatic - DCHP' to get settings from the modem, it picks up the modems IP and all that, but still no pages load. The modem works fine on its own.

The network structure is set out like this:

Modem (IP 10.1.1.1)>Router(10.1.1.2)>Switch>PC's(Mixture of static and automatic)

Thank you all in advance

EDIT: DSL internet connection

D-Link 502T is a router/modem combo. Do a factory reset on the linksys and then turn off Nat on the linksys, you don't need it.
You can also try running the switch directly to the modem/router and just leave the linksys out of the loop.

Sorry, I should have clarified,

Modem (IP 10.1.1.1)>Router(10.1.1.2)>Switch>PC's(Mixture of static and automatic) - is the network I want,

Modem (IP 10.1.1.1)>Switch>PC's(Mixture of static and automatic) - is what I currently have set up

Essentially, the only reason I want the linksys in there is for its wireless. While a wireless access point may be better, the linksys cost nothing..

Edit: That seems to have done it (couldnt find the nat options though), why it didnt work the last time i tried that is beyond me.. Thanks sturm :)
