Upgrading from E6600 to Q6600 G0

Last response: in CPUs

So, after reading a lot and realizing it will cost me 0, I decided to get a Q6600 G0, now backordered but accoding to Tank Guys they will be shipping it at the end of the week. The CPU would be here by next week probably. I have (as you can see in my profile) a E6600, and Vista 64. I expect just make a CPU swap, taking the E6600 out and installing the Q6600.

Will that process go smoothly?. Do I need to do something else?. Will my PC recognize de 4 Cores, or I need to reinstall Vista?.

Thanks in advance
