I've recently been trying to OC my old 4800+ X2 Toledo CPU but I've hit a snag...

My current config is
CPU - 234(12x) @ 1.5v - 2.81ghz
Memory - 1:1(468) @ 2.70v 3-4-3-8(this is where the problem is)
NB - 1.40v

The memory is rated at ddr-500 (OCZ Gold ddr-500 OCZ5002048ELGEGXT-K) but I'm not even able to get over 485. Don't know why this is happening as I've tried as many different config as i can think of to get ~2.8 and get ~500. I was going to get a 8800gt this x-mas but I really want to get this memory issue solved so a new 2gb pair is looking better and better. Any suggestions or tips as to what is going on or suggestions on some good ddr memory with some better timings would be very helpful. Thanks.

What graphics card do you currently have? A 8800GT would be a better upgrade than to buy new memory.
