Here's my problem(I really need help I'm lost):
I want to replace the onboard video card in my new system:
Asus M2A-VM
X2 4600+ EE 65W
2X1GB OCZ Gold 2.1V

The best card I found (Max at about 150$ CND) is a SAPPHIRE X1950 PRO : http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21246&vpn=11...

I heard this card had problems with some PSU - requirements: 30A on +12V. Mine is : http://www.startech.com/Product/PhotoGallery.aspx?Produ... . There are two 12V rails (17A and 16A) on that PSU. Can we say 17A+16A=33A??? Would this card work with my system??

I don't want to change de PSU, do you have any suggestions? The more I read on PSU and Video Cards, the more I'm lost and I don't know what to do.
Your help would be really appreciated
Thank you

No, what you need to do is take the watts supplied to the +12v rails and divide that by 12. In your case it's 360/12=30. Good news! You made it!

Those recommendations are also made for fully loaded systems. There are people here running that card with 25amps or so. You should be ok.
