How can I find a deleted file on windows xp home

Hello,
I had a Trojan virus discovered by avg. And I
deleted it and now I can't get no programs to open not
even Internet explorer. How do I find out what
file or program it deleted so I can reinstall

Hi tilweh, thank you for your response I will try
that and hopefully that will work cuz everytime
I try to open anything it just tells me there's an
error and it won't open. I will let you know
if i can get this done
