drop the ultras go to gtxs, drop the qx6700, go q6600, ultras are just oc'd, vmodded and updated bios'd gtxs, the qx6700 is just a q6600 wiht higher multiand unlocked multi, change your ram, 2gb sticks don't oc anywhere near as good as 1gb sticks and tend to be more expensive, also, since you will onyl ahve one dual channel kit you'll lose bandwidth compared to 4x 1gb sticks. get a new fan for your tuniq tower.

I would get GTXs instead of the 8800Ultras. Its really just a waste of money for a small increase in performance.

If you have money to waste then by all means...

As for Vista 64bit... not such a good idea. There are a lot of compatibilty problems with that right now. I would go with 32 bit for now.

Otherwise the rest looks ok I think.

get the q6600 and gtx also 4x1 stick ram as rammedstein said. get rid of the vista if you are thinking about gaming, ALL vista only games will be cracked for xp about 2 weeks after release. In vista the perks and luxories are not worth the trouble. and get 32 bit XP. and you can probably get two gtxes with 3.5k i think. the rough estimate would be.

I thought Vista's computability's problems was reduced after year of paid beta testing... err I mean release.

BFG is brandname and is known to have good RMA and customer support and the card has better reviews

And the OS? It doesn't say if it's 64 or 32 bit which usually means 32 bits.

it's a 64 bit and have no support for upgrading vista... 64 bit will just have trouble with game compatility.

Doesn't the upgrade version I need previous disc? I'm kind of moved half way across the country and don't have my previous disc and I'm stuck with a crappy laptop

just get a WHOLe new computer and get the new os
