I know this is possible (i did it once on another board) but cannot seem to figure it out.

Can you "short" the pins that are suppose to receive the "pwr button cable" from the casing's front panel ?
I want to run this mobo without a casing but can't turn it on.

I can short the PS and get IT to come on and the LED on my mobo is on but i can't get it to trigger. :pfff:

In the mobo book, it shows two pins (of the 9 pins) marked PWR. One says GND and the other PWR.
don't know what to do.....

[I have an ASUS board running a sckt754 AMD 2600+]

thanks guys...i'm desperate....

If you can't jump it, try putting the mobo on the static free bag it came in or even a piece of cardboard and see if you can get it close enough to the power cable to plug it in.
