I need your help. Which one should I go for, The ASUS P5K-VM or the Gigabyte GA-G33M-DS2R. The Asus board does not have RAID, whereas I read in an article on anandtech that the Gigabyte even with its ultra durable components is not a good overclocker + its about 15$ expensive than the ASUS one.
I have ASUS P5K-VM running at 450FSB, with 1.35V for proc (e6550@3.15GHz) and 2.1V for ram (corsair DDR2-675 with 1:1 ratio). The bad thing is you can't adjust the northbridge voltage, but other than that its pretty good..
And yeah I know my setup is a bit wierd for OCing, wasn't really going to OC at all but then I thought I might give it a try.
The reason I am going in for a G33 is because it has support for the upcoming Penryn and yet I do not intend to spend another ~100$ for a graphics card coz I dont need it. However I just wanted to know how far can I push it.
