Hey guys, My question is about power. I’m looking at building a new gaming box that’s gonna dual boot xp and vista. Its going to be running a Gigabyte GA-M59SLI-S5 mobo and an AMD X2 6400 cpu, an 8800GTS (I’d like to run sli soon, but not now), 2 gigs of ram, a Creative sound card, 2 DVD drives, and an assortment of fans and hard drives.
My question is I’m undecided between the PC Power and Cooling Turbo-Cool 1K psu, and their Slencer 750 Quad. The 1K would work better but its so big that I would have to remove one of my over head case fans to put it in, and I’m really worried about cooling. The 750 will fit in just fine, but I don’t want my system to be under powered. Any advice you guys could give would be a big help. Thanks!
