Best way to connect z5400 to X-fi extreme music

hello all

i have the z5400 logitech speakers and have connected it to my x-fi via the yellow/green/black cables. i was wondering if there was a better way to do this.

if so could you give the name/link of the cable i should buy

Generally there is only one way to connect your speakers, i.e., the sound card has designated ports for front, center, and rear. If the card has an optical out and your speakers have optical in, that would be the better connection

but what is the flexijack?

yeah the z5400 are the same as the z5450 but without the wireless rear speakers.
