Q6600 build questions

Just speccing up a Q6600 build and got a couple of questions.

1. Is the stock cooler any good? i.e. Is it quiet? (not OC'ing initially)
2. Striker Extreme is a sweet mobo, but is there an alternative cheaper board that is decent? (I will OC in the future)
3. Is this psu good enough (got to power a 8800gtx too) 650W Xclio X12S4P4 Modular SLi http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=375886 If not, psu must be modular and quiet.

1. Stock cooler is alright if you dont plan on overclocking.
2. P35 chipset is good if you dont want sli. X38 chipset is coming out soon if you want to wait.
3. I wouldnt recommmend that psu. Use this guide.

2_Striker extreme is good if u want SLI , if u dont want SLI ,then go for a good P35 board , also x38 difference with P35 is that X38 supports CrossFire in 2x16 mode , also pci-e2 support (P35 also supports PCI-E 2 )
