hi
I have wag54g and wrt54g
my isp gives me ablock of 6 ip
and i use pppoe to connect to my isp
i chang my wag54g ip to 212.XXX.XX.241
and disable nat and dhcp by configration from my isp
and change my pc ip to:
ip 212.XXX.XX.242
subnet mask : 255.255.255.248
gateway:212.XXX.XX.241
and dns as provided from isp
after connection established this the information from
Internet Connection tab
Login Type: PPPoE
Interface: Up
IP Address: 10.100.200.191 ( which i think my ip at isp!!!)
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway: 212.102.2.242 ( which i think it is isp gateway ip)
DNS 1: 212.102.0.82
DNS 2: 212.102.0.10
DNS 3: 0.0.0.0
Service Name: shabakah
AC Name: BRAS-224-01
this all information i have
and i connect wrt45g wan port to lan port on wag54g with sraight cable and wrt54g have modified firmware (v4.71.1, Hyperwrt 2.1b1 + Thibor15c ) and Internet Setup made it as static ip with following:-
ip :212.XXX.XX.246
subnetmask: 255.255.255.248
gateway:212.XXX.XX.241
and dns as provided from isp
and dhcp working with ip 192.168.1.1
subnet mask 255.255.255.0

with this configration internet is working in all pc conected wire or wirless on both (wag54 and wrt54)
the problem is filesharing
any computer connected to wrt54 can connect to any computer connected to wag45 but any computer connected to wag54 cann't connect to any computer connected to wrt45

so any solution to connect both network to make true file sharing?

with regards
