HSF Cooler for C2D (775) board?

I'm gonna put together a general purpose rig pretty soon along the lines of a P35 Board, e6750 chip and 2 Gigs of DDR2 6400C4 Corsair Ram (a decent graphics card). I'm looking for a resonably priced HSF without those intel-type push pins (probably a back plate type) and quiet . This will not be a gaming rig, just general purpose and modest multi-tasking. I'm trying not to build another vacuum cleaner ...

Would appreciate recommendations on good after market coolers suitable for a mild (at best) OC but very quiet. I've got this Cooler Master Hyper TX Cooler sitting around I could use, but I hate those pins. Trying to keep it under $50.

Any suggestions (links) or recommendations would be appreciated.
