Problems installing MS office 2010 on Windows 7

I purchased a new PC and a new Office Home and Business 2010 pack. I started to install the pack and entered the product code number and the install process began. It was very slow and before it was finished it dropped out. I removed the CD and reset the computer and tried to reload the Office pack but it freezes up after only a few minutes of checking and before it starts any loading. How do I get around this problem and get to load my new Office 2010 pack on my computer.

that is weird, how exactly did it drop out?
remove the already installed files with Fix it, follow the steps of removing the product, restart your computer and reinstall the Office again.
