well for 2x8800gtx , this is enough , but if u can get a 1KW PSU for better performance

Your processor is fine. I don't want to know if they make a processor that uses 1000W. That would be scary.

I too would like to know what type of power supply you would need to run two GTX in SLi. I am looking at running SLi withing a month or three and I only have a 700W.

But Nvidia hasn't made any announcements about the 9800 coming out this year, and most sites are now saying "G92" is simply a mid range refresh.

Yeah, I am waiting to see. If that does come out, then I will get the 9800 gtx and sell my 8800 gtx. If not.... I will get another 800 gtx. Will a 700w be enough for SLi. It is over 85% efficincy.
