I recently upgraded My systems graphics card from 800XT PE to BFG 8800GTS, When I play video files in any video player there will some green vertical rectangles or green patchesin the video.
But this happens with only few files. Any problem's with the new card or it is just a settings problem?
I also noticed that the bios screen refresh has become little bit slower.

I have exactly the same issues with my BFG 8800GTS OC2 320MB. I also noticed that if you force YUY2 mode (instead of YV12), the video playback problem disappears. Is this a known hardware/driver bug? Thank you in advance.

Yes. I upgraded and already formatted my hard drive (which eliminates driver installation problems). My previous graphics card was a 6600GT and I never had this kind of problems. I think it depends on which player you use. In KMPlayer, the Output colorspaces can be changed in Preferences - Video Processing - Output colorspaces. It is still quite abnormal for a modern graphics card to have this kind of problems with YV12...
