More Information

Does anyone know if the GD8 pro has any compatibility issues with the Celeron D356

I had a spare CPU and bought an Abit GD8 pro from the bargain bin for £10 but the board powers up but doesn't post at all.

Using a 7600 GT and 2 1Gb sticks of elixir DDR2 533 just to test the board. Have attached an IDE drive so the board has a load.

Is this a case of needing a bios update or is the board likely dead.

Any help appreciated
