1) Will i be able to OC? (Is that a good mobo for that? any luck with this ram?)
2) GIGABYTE P35-DS3R: Dont know a thing about RAID. Does it make a difference? Worth extra bucks?

1) Yes. Not the best ram out there. This is better for less:

ProMos chips. Average. Can o/c a bit. But cheap! Don't worry about ram. You can o/c cpu & ram at a ratio that keeps the ram near or at stock. i.e. 8 x 400 = 3.2ghz (cpu) & 400 x 2 = 800mhz (ram) If no go, then 399 or 401.

2) DS3R o/cs better than DS3. It's up to you to decide if the extra mhz is worth the money. 650i is a good overclocker.

If you prefer P35, this is good too:

What about this one?

Between GEIL and TEAMGROUP you advise me the latter?

It's not the brand that's good. It's the Micron D9 chips on the sticks that are good.

T800UX2GC4 is Micron D9. It's overpriced. In the U.S., Ballistix (micron d9) costs ~$65 after rebate, for example. There are a few others in the price range.

Look it up yourself:

so..promos is better than elpida
I get it:)
Ill go for that one...dont have money for better.
I just thought that lower timings of geil dragon than teamgroup elite is the most important thing

Team is top notch, but expensive. Lower timings cost money.

You don't need the best ram. Just something to run near or at 800. Like mine, it's crap. Can't o/c past 900. I'm keeping it at 800 while o/c'ing my cpu to 3.2. You can probably get 400 x 8, etc.
