i installed a sata harddrive for my girlfriend on a new build. but there is a small nusance, the drive keeps coming up on the right side of the screen and it allows u to safely remove it. what should i do, i didn't try to remove it, the safely remove hardware thing that i am talking about is when u stick in a flash drive it pops up and u click on it to remove it. how do i get rid of it or did i do something wrong?

Nothing to worry about. The computer is detecting the drives as a removeable device, which newer SATA drives are hot swappable. You can just always hide the icon if you want to. There are some registry tweaks out there for nforce boards you can try. http://www.pcdoctor-guide.com/wordpress/?p=3079
I believe if you try to remove your main system drive it wont let you as windows will be using it. Other drives will simply disconnect but should reconnect at next boot. My computer shows the same thing. I just set the icon to always hide and forget about it.
