More Information

Hello,

A friend of mine purchased a new hard drive and installed it into his system. He wanted to use the new drive has his primary disk and kept all his files backed up on his older drive. He went to install Windows XP on the new drive, partitioned the drive, but Windows wouldn't install correctly. He deleted the formatted partition and tried it again. No luck.

Now I went to look at it today, and it turns he left both hard drives on "master". Now when I went to install Windows, it unfortunately lists the older drive as unpartitioned. Anybody know if the information can be recovered in some way? Will undelete software be able to find the files? Or are they now completely lost?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
