If you are OCing with the stock heatsink I'd be happy with 2.5 GHz.

overclock to 2.7Ghz, vcore 1.28~1.3v on cpu-z. Idle temp is 41C and prime95 Blend test, speedfan show Temp1: 46C.

core 0: ~45C
core 1: 43C
core 2: 34C

I used Unlinked to over clock i want to have memory and fsb independent. my mem mhz is at 850. my fsb is at 1200mhz. for some reason when i try to push my fsb over 1230, the sytem boot to the first screen where you press Delete to enter the bios. it boot half of the list and it freeze.

i have the latest mobo bios. is my mobo not friendly with c2d q6600? what volt should i put for NB, and other stuffs.

i printed out the oc guide by graysky and read it but when i try to overclock mine it doesnt work so well.

seeing that alot of people have great success with their cpu i hope to be that fortunate..

thanks for the help.
