Hmmmm, about 50/50 in my experience.
Girls rather play cutesy games, but there's also the few who are in the
middle area. Most don't like the gory games.

I know at least 5 other girls who love Resident Evil (trying to think
here.) Oh yeah my little sister has always watched me play the RE
games right from the first one. She's 11 now so she's pretty much
grown up with them. Yes, yes, I know not very responsible of me
letting her watch these games at such a young age but she's turned out
ok!

I'd say it's about 50/50 too. There are quite a few girls I know who
love to get stuck into good old fashioned bloodlust games (Doom, Quake
and Metal Gear Solid all tome to mind) but still play a lot of other
cutesy games. I tend to do the same, it all depends on the game IMHO.

An ex-girlfriend of mine got realy heavily into the GTA, RE and Splinter
Cell series but totally *melted* at the thought of all the cute
characters in Super Monkey Ball (fx: "Look at the l'il guys, aaaaaaah" )

Everytime I play it now I crack up laughing thinking of her )
