HDD:Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3320620AS 320GB Hard Drive-86.59
CPU COOLER:Thermalright Ultima 90 with Scythe S-Flex Fan SFF21F Add Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound - 3.5g-66.29
This system is far from ready and all the price already include shiping and tax.
Budget was 900 but I think I can get some more out of my parents if I try.
Another thing I always had the question that lets say that you OC the e6750 to 3.4 GHz with Thermalright Ultima 90 with Scythe S-Flex Fan.....How long will it last before it burns or dies or is it just luck and last forever. Before you have to buy another one?
Everything looks good, but the 8600GT wont cut it. It's not really a good gaming card. I would suggest getting the X1950Pro, but that's just to hold you over. You should really try for the 8800GTS 320MB at least to play that game pretty well.
Get the 1950Pro till you can save up for a good next gen card.
Thank you Solarics........
BTW I forgot to add is it just better if I got the E6750 and OC it to 3.4 and save an extra 100$ ? Since I was planning on OC'ing the heck out of this quad in about a couple of months when this is starting to get older...
No, the Q6600 will be better and more future proof. More and more games in the future will come out with Quad core support, like crysis does. So get the Quad for future proofing and OC it to around 3.2 it'll be a beast.
If you plan to oc, its better to get a nice HSF now so you don't have to remove the motherboard later. You can get the 6750 if you plan to upgrade the cpu later on, when the new intel ones start coming out.
Otherwise, get the Quad and a nice hsf, like a thermalright Ultra 120.
Off Topic Question:When did you start you're business and where is it located? I registerd and considering you.
Just want to know since I was thinking of doing the same thing here with a friend. Were both in High School so it will be kinda hard of starting it and doing homework everyday. We have expirience in both building and testing just started OC last year.
Back to business: How much exact will it cost through you?
