I am currently using a 7600GS and have not had any problems. My 3d mark 01 score with out it was 5370 and with it oc'd im at 17343.

3dmark 01???

Hardly a real measure for a C2D proc and a GeForce 8xxx series.

05, or 06 maybe.

I think the 8600 is your better bet between those two---it has a fair amount more power than a 7600GS, and a lot more features.

3Dmark 01?? From 5k you went to 17k? Thats like 150-160% increase in performance!!! How the hell did you pull that one?
What's you 3Dmark 05 score?

I think you may have missed the bit where the 5k was without the card?

i guess i will replace mine with the 8600GT fatal1ty, just let me confirm one thing, i have a 450 W power supply will it run fine with all those hardware?

Well your 12Volt rail will matter more than overall wattage. But if it is a 450watt then it should be safe to say that it would.
