Delete second boot

recently reinstalled xp on an older machine during the boot up now it ask me which xp to boot up into, need to know how to properly delete the second instance of xp. there is only a C: drive and in msconfig/boot.ini it wont let me delete it, am i doing something wrong?

Hi.

In the boot tab of msconfig, exist an option that say "check all inputs", just click on this and the system delete automatically the boot that don't work.

figured it out just went to start run typed in "c:\boot.ini" then deleted the bad boot and saved it done
