Anyone know when Barcelona CPUs will be available to the public?

Believe me, I'll post it as soon as Dell, HP are ready. I doubt Barcelona will have a serious retail presence for awhile as most people who will buy them buy from OEMs. That's nt to say they won't be at Newegg next month or so but that's not really a retail product. Most server CPUs aren't.

The server version should be available by Novermber, where consumer grade (Phenom) will be available in Q407~Q108. In other words, it would be a while before you see Opteron X4 in retail.
Surprisingly yes, even though its server cpu its already available at Newegg and other places in both Oem and Retail versions. It wasnt paper launch after all.
