Converting Home Movies To DVD

Could anyone comment on the post I put in the video forum. I figured it didn't belong here but the whole point of my new build was for converting my home movies to DVD.

I's using Adobe Premiere Elements, which has worked very well. I've used Pinnacle, PowerDVD, and Easy Media Creator 8 in the past and had problems with all of them. Adobe is about $90 but they have a pack with Premiere Elements and Photoshop Elements for around $110 or so with rebates, which is a really good deal if you do anything with photos The best way to attach the camcorder to the computer is to just use a firewire or USB cable. If the camcorder connect with firewire and the mobo doesn't have onboard on firewire, you'll have to get a card. Unlike analogue camcorders, you don't need a converter box for a digital, just connect directly to the computer
