hi
i am making a build
purchasing parts from newegg and shipping them outside the USA in the same time i receive them
i will not install any OS in it but i need to know how can i test the
RAM the HARDDISK and the MOBO in M$ DOS environment
before i ship them
i heard of hirens cd
but any other idea
appreciate any comment

Well, I'd definitely boot from a Memtest86+ bootable CD. Not really so sure about the HD.

Could run the diagnostic/repair software from the hdd mfg on a floppy. Not sure how you can test the mobo other than installing it and see if it works.

Well you could just install windows to check it works and then format it off?

Ubuntu Live CD comes to mind. It has memtest86+ and will boot your machine without installing any software.
