Hello everybody, i have an extreme issue with my hard drive i was transfering all my files because the hard drive was extrange but i let it fall down to the ground and it doesn't work again, i send it to a guy who repair hard drives and told me that the electronic board was damaged so i bougth a new hard drive and he replace the electronic board, but it doesn't work the hard drive don't want to boot.

The thing is that the guy who was reparing the hard drive told that he can't save my files 'cause there's a scratch in the main boot sector of the drive.

Well, i need to know if exist a company who repair hard drives in that situation because there is my thesis, and i have 2 months to summit it and give my speech about it.

My hard drive is a HITACHI 80GB ATA/IDE MODEL:hds728080plat 20

I'm from Venezuela, but i have family in US i can send to any company of there.

Thank you in advance.
Regards.

Now you have learned a valuable lesson.
ALWAYS KEEP MULTIPLE BACKUP COPIES OF YOUR FILES! PREFERABLY ONLINE AND A FLASHDRIVE
Also the guy who you sent the HDD to could have also done more harm than good if he wasn't a qualified person.
