Bootmgr problem

Last response: in Windows Vista
March 6, 2011 5:28:32 AM

I am having a problem with my computer as it is saying that BOOTMGR is missing. I have tried using the Vista Anytime Cd but when I try to restore it there is no operating system listed. Would it be possible to get the data from the drive if I were to get an external enclosure and hook it up to another computer?
