My Dell Axim seems to drain every 3v backup battery I put into it.
It takes about 2 to 3 weeks. I don't even use the thing that much, just
once every week or less.

I replace it becuase that annoying popup messages comes up on the
PocketPC if you don't replace it.

It that common for the backup battery to drain so rapidly? I think my
Axim is screwed up.

Are you charging the Axim at all? Main storage is in RAM, which needs
constant power. So the "off" switch doesn't really turn the device
completely off.

If you're getting 2-3 weeks without charging, that's actually good for
Pocket PCs.
