im looking to get a good aftermarket heatsink for my q6600

i will be overclocking the cpu to 3.0- 3.2 ghz, nothing to crazy, but nothing real lite either, i really dont want to spend more then 40 dollars on a cooler but the computer will be on 24/7 but in idle for the majority of the time, it will really only have any load on it what so ever for about 3-4 hours a day, size doesnt matter, but im prob getting a neo2 p35 motherboard and would like it to fit easily on it,

if you also have one of those heatsink review guides showing core temps for multiple cpu's that would be really helpful, but give me some of your personal choices

Ultima 90

I think that's the best bang for the buck.. It lags behind the Ultra 120 X by 2-3 C and I think would hold 3.0-3.2 GHz just fine.

Make sure you order the Ultima 90 and not the Ultra 90. The Ultra has 3 less heat pipes.

Edit: Just checked newegg, they don't have the Ultima 90 in, they only have the Ultra. The ultra has 3 heat pipes, the Ultima has 6.

well i dont want to seem ungrateful, but 45 dollars plus another 15 dollars for a sythe fan is a lil over my price range, whats the next best thing

well actually i got another quick question, if i use the ultima 90 and use one of these fans
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835103022
would it work as well as that sythe s-flex fan that they normally recommend, its got about the same airflow and its a 3 pin which is nice for motherboard

what about the sythe ninja rev b, ive been reading and it seems like a really good alternative and is only 40 dollars with a fan

I got my CoolerMaster TX2 for $10 AR. Thats awsome price for a midrange cooler. Not only that it keeps my E2180@3Ghz under 53~52C over an hour of Prime small FFT's. Not bad for $10.
