I wouldn't get the Raptor. I have one and don't see any gaming performance gain whatsoever. I'd get a larger cheaper drive and save the money. For PSU I think you should get a Corsair 620W. It's better than the Thermaltake.

The case is pretty nice. If you are OCing, I'd get a Quad and oc it to over 3.2GHZ it will better for future games that use Quad core.

For motherboard, save some money and get a DS3R. You don't need that other PCIE slot since its pretty worthless and you're getting an Nvidia card and the board doesn't support SLI.

About the ram, I don't know how good it is for OCing. I would go for Crucial or Super Talent Cas4.

Oh also get a Thermalright Ultra 120 for a HSF.

Msg me anytime if you have questions. Maximus9102 at aim or yahoo :). I pmed you as well.

Thanks for the responses!! I debated whether or not to go with the Quads over the Core 2 Duo. Due to the fact that very few programs right now will be able to utilize the quad features and the fact that the Core 2 Duo OC's very well I think I'm sticking with the Core 2 Duo

I checked out the DS3R but I read a slew of bad reviews about it (mostly on Newegg) and the reviews for the DS3P were much much better. So I'm a little on the fence about the DS3R. I'm also not too concern about a lack of SLI, my plan is to just run 1 card.

Thanks for the recommendation on the Cosair 620W it seems like a great PSU. My only concern is it wont be enough power. Right now as it stands it should be sufficient. I'm trying to think ahead with my PSU. I'm sure I'll be adding another drive at some point and I'm sure I'll be upgrading to a bigger better video card at some point and I want to make sure I have enough juice when I do.

Thanks Again for the feedback and keep it coming!! :)

The 620W will be more than enough. It runs my GTX with power to spare. It will run the future cards as well. Most of the DS3R reviews very positive. If you have the money and want to go with the one you had, go for it. The Abit P35 Pro is also pretty good.

I think you should get the Quad not for now, but for the future. Many games will start to use it in a year or 2. Some games like Crysis and Alan Wake that are coming out soon are using the Quad core. They RP very well as too. It's your choice though :).

Good luck with your build.
