Recently I purchased a Seagate 1TB 32MB cache drive from Fry's Electronics, and I can't find the serial number registered on Seagate's website. Does anybody know why they have ST31000340AS on the site, but not ST310005N1A1AS-RK? And what dose that "-RK" mean?
The main difference I can see is that the packaging is all white with everything written in english and french, so I assume it's a canadian drive, but that's odd considering I live in Texas. But that's just what I speculate.
