I have an E2180 at the moment but I will be ordering another computer soon with a E2200 for my parents. Should I swap them out and use the E2200? Will it likely overclock any further? Obviously the multiplier of 11 makes it easier to obtain the same speeds, but does this mean it could overclock further than the E2180? Will processors with a higher multiplier use less voltage to obtain the same speeds?

Bump on this. I was about to purchase the E2200 for my little brothers PC, and wanted to know its OCing capabilities. (its a used one, so very cheap, please don't start "suggesting.")

Any ideas?

The entire line of E2xx0 will all overclock to about 3.4 - 3.6ghz on air. With some getting to 3.7ghz on water.

However, I've read many reports of only 3ghz or so, this is because of the motherboard. Since many of these processors are budget, they tend to be bought with lower end motherboards, which has very limited overclocking settings.

My experience with my E2180 was fairly good. I was able to get 3.6ghz stable with 1.6v on an EVGA 650i board, using Thermalright Ultima 90 cooler.
