Hello, this message comes up when im trying to install vista, tried brand new hard drive and different disks, and different cd rom. Helppp!

Very likely there is nothing wrong, physically, with any of your hardware. This is a common problem when using SATA drives. Restart your computer and get into the BIOS. Find your way to the area where you can select ACHI or IDE Legacy. Note that the terminology used in your BIOS may differ. If you're using SATA drives, turn off IDE emulation/legacy, then try the install again.
