Hello all,

I have a question to ask about my new hard drive. I order a new SATA hard drive, and installed my OS on it, but in Windows XP Home, there is the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the task-bar, when I click on it to see what is there it displays my SATA Hard Drive. Why is it recognizing it as a removable device?

Thanks,

It's because SATA is hot-pluggable to a degree.
