2900pro 512 vs 2900pro 1gig

I was looking at buying the 2900pro and wanted to know what difference I would see between the 512 version and the 1 gig version. Would the 1 gig version make a difference only at high resolutions?

to my knowledge, they have competitive scores up to resolutions of about 1680x1050. Higher resolutions than that and the 1 gig card starts really flexing its muscles.

yea with higher resolutions it is really a good idea to go with the 1 gig version
