Hey there, welcome to the forums! If you plan to OC would get a Q6600 CPU with a Thermalright Ultra 120 cooler.  Get a nice Motherboard like the GIGABYTE GA-P35C-DS3R.  It have nice OC options as well as support DDR3 ram if you want to upgrade in the future.  Since you have the money go with a GTX card or get a GTS640 and save money to upgrade to one of the newer cards that come out around Xmas time.

For ram get a nice set of DDR2-800, like Cruicial, Corsair, or Super Talent.

PSU is very important.  If you have the money I would get a Corsair 620W.  It will give you power for future upgrades as well.

All the rest is really up to you.  How much hard drive space do you need?

Cases are personal, but I like the Antec P182.  It's a solid case that is really quiet.

If you have any questions at all, let me know.  Msg me anytime on aim or yahoo, Maximus9102.  I'm always glad to help.  Send you a PM as well.

yeah they are the same thing pretty much :).  The E6750 is pretty good, but for your budget the Q6600 is much better.  It will be more futureproof.
