I have q6600 go stepping with thermlaright 120 extreme heatsink, Room temperature is 25 C. CORE 54 LOAD CORE 54 LOAD CORE 50 LOAD CORE 49 LOAD is this temperature to high? Btw i lapped my heatsink.
No not under load, If you are using TAT. You neglected to say how you are reading the temps. If its a motherboard supplied program they are on the high side but either way they are OK.
i am using coretemp software my full load usualy stay at 48 C with 20 C room temperature but todays its went up to to 54c.
