Windows xp firewall wont stay on

I now have a problem with my firewall it shuts itself off ,I have not had a computer that long so could you tell me how to correct this in laymans terms.

If you have any antivirus or third party firewall (like Zone Alarm etc.) it will force off the windows firewall.

Download & Scan with Malwarebytes, Check far any trojans blocking firewall!
