Unable to disconnect a network drive

when I tried to disable the local area connection, I am unable to do so and getting the following message : "It is not possible to disconnect the connection at this time. This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug and play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account". Please help me how to disable this.

just unplug the cable and disable it.. after that hook it..

unplugged the cable, still nothing happens.
