Hey all,
I have an Evga 7900GT CO (non superclocked) and it seems to be running pretty hot. It runs about 45C idle and when I game (playing COD4) it was hitting close to 80C when it would crash the comp. The case temp never gets hot (doesnt get over 35C) and it gets good airflow (antec 180p w/ 3 fans). I cleaned out the vga heatsink and changed the stock paste for some artic, it seemed to help under load (it doesnt crash anymore and gets 75C max). I am thinking an after market cooler would serve it well. Any ideas of what would be a good cooler? The Zalmans 900 seems alright but is there any better alternatives that would fit the card?
P.S. I dont care about the noise, performance is key!
